Sir Martin Sorrell Gets Freedom Of The City

Ultra successful business man, and CEO of advertising firm WPP, Sir Martin Sorrell has been awarded the Freedom of the City of London at a ceremony at Guildhall. Sorrell now joins the other City Freemen who have the right to herd sheep over London bridge and to go about the City with a drawn sword.

Earlier this year eyebrows were raised when Sorrell was appointed by Boris Johnson as the Chairman of his  International Business Advisory Council, and then soon after announced that he was relocating WPP to Ireland.
